Mes cadeaux de noël - Edition 2016

Comme chaque année, le père noël est passé par mon salon pour y déposer des dizaines de jolis paquets contenant des cadeaux tous plus adorables les uns que les autres.

Je tiens à commencer par préciser que si mes cadeaux sont nombreux, ils ne coûtent pour la plupart que quelques euros, il s’agit d’une tradition dans ma famille, nous ne nous donnons pas d’argent pour noël (c'est trop facile!) et nous avons tous un penchant pour les petits cadeaux, ces petites attentions si particulières qui font toujours plaisir, qu’il s’agisse d’un carnet, d’un agenda, d’une jolie bougie ou d’un petit bracelet, ce sont ces cadeaux que je préfère et qui prolifèrent chaque année sous notre sapin.

Cette année, j’ai été particulièrement gâtée, notamment grâce à mes deux meilleures amies qui ont redoublé d’inventivité et à ma mère qui a bien cerné mes envies. Parmi mes cadeaux préférés ce noël on trouve un adorable porte-carte de la marque Fossil, parfait pour rendre ma carte Navigo plus attrayante et m’accompagner dans mes trajets quotidiens (ça donnerait -presque- envie d'aller prendre le métro !). Un magnifique collier en plaqué or de la marque Pomme Cannelle qui ne me quittera pas de si tôt.

Un paillasson Urban Outfitters, la première chose que je poserai dans mon nouvel appartement au printemps. Deux daily planners pour la control-freek que je suis, un pour la maison et l’autre pour le travail ainsi qu’une multitude de produits Clarins offerts par Sophie que je vais m’empresser de tester.

Every year on the 25th of December Santa Claus stops by my house to drop dozens of the cutest and most colourful packages and this year was no exception.

First of all I would like to clarify one thing, yes I had a lot of presents but none of them were expensive, and some only cost a few euros. It is some kind of tradition we have in my family, we can’t have money nor expensive presents at Christmas, the goal being to please everyone without going bankrupt (but we DO declare bankruptcy on birthdays). 

When it comes to Christmas and gift giving, I love small presents, this way I can buy a lot of things and have a LOT of boxes to open, plus, small gifts are cheap and easy to find. Whether it is a cute notebook, an agenda, a scented candle or a bracelet, it’s always a pleasure to receive that kind of presents don't you think? 

(To be honnest I think I have a thing with unwrapping presents and opening boxes, I just love it no matter what's inside it, even when I order a bottle of detergent on Amazon.com, which could explain my obsession for small presents)

This year I have to admit that I was particularly spoiled and my best friends clearly deserve a gold medal for mastering the art of gift giving. Among my favourite presents we find the most adorable card holder from Fossil, perfect for my train tickets. A beautiful gold-plated necklace with the cutest gem from a shop called Pomme Cannelle.

A doormat with the quote “turn off yourstraighteners” from my favourite website, Urban Outfitters, which will probably be the first thing I'll set in my new appartment when I move in next spring, though I think you can’t find it on the website anymore. Two daily planners for the control-freek I am, one will stay home and the other will be perfect for work. Finally, a lot of products from the brand Clarins I can’t wait to try.
